Together, we have been friends, roommates, co-teachers, art-show-hosters, and lamp-makers. 

Our collaborations begin on the couch with coffee and rough sketches. We then part ways to late nights in our separate studios, facetimes and pictures sent over text, until our finished pieces can come back together and bring each other to life.

The process is energizing, surprising, and playful. We are in love with these 5 lamps and excited to share them.

Shades made by Phoebe Mol: Each lamp shade is a convergence of many materials and timelines, as polyvinyl panels enveloping dried flowers collected over years are hand-sewn with waxed bookbinding thread onto paper mache armatures. The light casts sweet strange shadows of flowers you might meet in a dream.

Bases made by Miranda Karson:  Each lamp base is formed by hand using a combination of rolling, pinching, and coiling techniques developed over years in my sculptural work. The clay body is a cream colored mid-range stoneware with just a hint of sandy texture. Each glaze is brushed on and fired to a matte or satin finish, so that the light they reflect is soft and warm. 

There are three options presented at the checkout page: Flat-rate Shipping, Local Delivery, and Local Pickup.

Flatmate Shipping: Shipping is set at $50. If your shipping cost is lower the difference will be refunded. 

Local Delivery: We offer local delivery in Portland, OR, within 7 business days at a flat rate of $25. 

Local Pickup: Pick up your order in SE Portland (free!)
